(Sorry for the double post but this deserves its own entry.)

Tips for a Better Life:

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to...
3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, "My purpose is__________today".
4. Eat more foods that grown on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
5. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
6. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
7. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
8. Life it too short to waste time hating anyone.
9. Don't take yourself too seriously. No one else does.
10. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
11. Make peace with your past so it will not spoil the present.
12. Do not compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
13. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
14. Frame every so-called disaster with these words, "In five years, will this matter?"
15. What other people think of you is none of your business.
16. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
19. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds and walnuts.
20. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

Im sitting here crying like a loser because of all of you.

Your words and nice compliments boggle my mind. If I could see myself the way all of you do, I would be a snobby pretentious bitch.

I love you more than you know.

A white woman, about 51 years old, was seated next to a black man on an airplane. Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air hostess. "Madam, what is the matter?" the hostess asked.

"You obviously do not see it," she responded. "You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat."

"Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available." The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later. "Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is also no seat in the business class. All the same, we still have one place in the first class." Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued, "It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting." The hostess turned to the black man and said "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in first class." At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded.
